Mr. Michael Sweeney |

Mr. Sweeney, a native Bostonian, came to the Pacific Northwest in the late 1970s. He received a BA and an MA in History from the University of Washington. He returned to Boston to begin teaching at Holy Name School in West Roxbury, Massachusetts in 1986.
Since then Mr. Sweeney has traveled widely to learn and teach. His experience includes teaching in international schools in Mexico and Ivory Coast as well as serving as principal in the Archdiocese of Portland (OR) and Diocese of Kalamazoo (MI). Prior to returning to the Northwest to become principal at St. Nicholas School, Mr. Sweeney completed coursework for his administrative certification at Lewis University in Romeoville, Illinois.
Mr. Sweeney is an ardent supporter of Catholic education and St. Nicholas School.
