Mrs. Bortnick, a Florida native, moved to Washington from Panama City Beach, Florida. She earned her B.A. in Child Development from Virginia Tech, and has taught Pre-K for the last fifteen years. She is married to her husband Mike and enjoys running and competing in trithalons.
